 About Terry Robinson RN, AP
Registered Nurse, Board Certified & Licensed Acupuncture Physician
Terry Robinson is a Board Certified and Licensed Acupuncture Physician. He graduated from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, Cum Laude, with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and a concurrent Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Health Studies.
Terry is a member of the American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM), with specialties in Acupoint injection, auricular acupuncture, tuina (Chinese massage) and nutrition as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Having started his career in health care in 1991, following honorable service in the US Marine Corps Terry began working EMS for an ambulance service, a period which lasted the next nine years. Continuing to pursue his educational goals, he completed his Associates Degree in Nursing and also holds licensure as a RN where he has worked in cardio-thoracic surgery for five years and, currently, the emergency room.
Additional RN certifications include: ACLS (advanced cardiac life support); PALS (pediatric advanced life support); TNCC (trauma nurse core curriculum).
Terry’s love of service to his fellow man has allowed him to study with such persons as Dr. Scott Olsen, in philosophy and perennial wisdom. His life has allowed him to meet and explore with such healers as Dr. Ralph Metzner and indigenous Peruvian shamans, as well as breathwork with those trained by Stanislov Grof. He is currently working on his Bachelor’s in Esoteric Science through Claregate College which is under the curriculum of Dr. Douglas Baker.
It is with the aforementioned life experience that Terry desires to aid as well as learn from those with whom his life crosses paths with.
